The Philatelic & Numismatics "Con Affetto" is a result of constant experience and commitment. In over 45 years of studying with dedication these two specific collections. The owner Mr Fabio Ghini who opened this shop not only by his own passion for stamp collecting but also supported by other well known stamp collectors. Who where already in this business who over the years have turned in to not only colleagues but also good friends who respect each other professionally.

Fabio Ghini presents and tells his story.

"I found my passion for the Philatelic when I was about 7 years old for a long time I collected stamps & coins from important nations. With the passing of the years I was able to but together period and important issues of Philatelic & Numismatics to the point of having completed valid and important private collections.

For all of this I have to thank for all the support and precious advice given to me, from serious and professionals in this sector. Today they are my colleagues who have advised me in the right direction’s how and where to spend my savings in this variety world of collection. To the point of being able to achieve completed collections which with the passing of time they have turned out to be a well made investment.

With the passing of the years my passion for the fascinating world grow even more and I gained more experience in the different sectors of collections. everyday that passed became more rewarding with the discovery of what I was doing a little bit at a time was growing and going in the right direction.

After many years of activist collection and never losing sight of the continual up keeping and enlarging of my knowledge on the philatelic & numismatics with remarkable satisfaction. In the middle of the 80’s I made some important findings in the philatelic subject never before found in any philatelic catalogue’s.

Thanks to my revelation’s from that moment onwards to this day they are in all the important philatelic catalogue’s Italian and foreign. After that with a few editors of catalogues and magazines I have contributed in  modifying different voice’s which were inaccurate and not very clear.In particular I contributing in the realising of a few chapters discussing the sector of specialising regarding the area’s English,French,American and Italian.

In course of the years I have been called to founder two philatelic & numismatics club’s in two different city’s also to hold a conference on philatelic & numismatics in secondary schools and rotary club I have also been contacted from the ministry of the Italian post offices and ministry of education of Rome to the point of being willing to hold course’s of explanation on the subject of philatelic to school teachers as a project to introduce the philatelic subject in junior and comprehensive schools. To my disappointment to this day it has not yet taken off. I have also been contacted from the general director of the Italian post office with the request to hold a course to update the post office staff on philatelic.

After many years one of my dreams remained closed in the draw it was to open my own philatelic & numismatics shop. In the end my dream came true and it’s thanks to this that today I can pour my knowledge to all those who approach the world of collection.

With all my experience matured an advice given to me in the passed . So that from the start can be advised on a correct and valid collection to avoid wasting money on things which are often only passing fashion and gives nothing in terms of value or being able to complete a collection ,and as always even to this day as always recommend do little but what you start do it well and most of all complete it.

As told above my dream finale came true in the philatelic & numismatics  with"Con Affetto". It has been up and running for round about 20 years in the philatelic & numismatics market national and international.

Right from the start I was able to give efficient service with a high stranded of expert advice to collectors, who love to enrich there collection what ever nation,period and basic themes with the purchase of new editions and passed. allowing them to be able to complete period and the missing parts.

The philatelic & numismatics "Con Affetto" as soon as it opened it aroused a lot of interest in the village and outskirts. The collectors who came into the shop born as a new point of qualified reference to philatelic & numismatics. They appreciated not only the vast assortment but also the professional and experience that is behind it in a short time it gained faithful customers to which willingly I ofter advice and support on stamps and coins which helped them to grow.

With the passing of time more and more collector’s came to "Con Affetto" that the customers came from Lot’s of different city’s from Italy and abroad what is considered important is the method of the work right from the start. Not only I bought people who had left there collections unfinished in time but also with satisfaction I have brought young people into this wonderful world, who before did not have any idea on how to start collecting stamps and coins.

In particular to the young I am very willing to follow them personally so that they do not make mistakes in there collection and most of all that they do not trust people or dealers who have no understanding or experience, and who are only out there for there own interest and profit.Selling stamps and coins as quality ones only to turn out that they have fault’s only to be spotted by expert eye’s.

Unfortunately these people are like fly’s on honey especially at markets,fairs and exhibitions giving the wrong image of philatelic and numismatics and dishonesty and unfair competition with the serious dealers. Who operate with honest care and responsibility.

Even more reason in this world of constant evolution in collectivism which is very sensitive and subject to a number of counterfeit and falsify you need to turn to a qualified dealer’s shop, always distrust from offers which are to low below the normal price. Which at first seems to be a good bargain but in the end turns out that the only person to get a bargain is the not so qualified dealer.
